In cpanel you can create subdomains using a webpage, is this possible outside of cpanel?

I am looking to see if there is any code that creates a subdomain, im not sure if it can be done through PHP but there are no other coding forums :p

also dont tell me get a wildcard dns :p

Take a look @ http://www.hotscripts.com/PHP/Scripts_and_Programs/Redirection/URL_Based/ . There is a few scripts there that might be of interest!!

You can either use Apache RewriteRules or you can simply edit httpd.conf directly to create the VirtualHost entries for subdomains.

Been there, done that, they don't sell any t-shirts. They all need WildCard DNS. It seems as I dont have access to the below I will set them up manually, which isnt a problem :)

Ive been looking for the same type of script a long time, and now i've found it.

Click here and download the script (http://www.cyberscript.net/products/easyhost) it also allows you to give away free web space.

There is a FREE version, and a PRO version.

The FREE one is very very good, and very easy to setup !!
