Hello, i will be using whmcs soon and i am researching how to automate billing and account creation.
What i mean by automation is: i want the acount of the customer to be created automatically as soon as s/he pays the bill. And i also want a welcome mail to be sent automatically to the customer after his/her account is created.
What should i do in order to automate this?
Your help will be appreciated,
Thanks

That why WHMCS is there, you just have to configure it, try their demo at http://www.whmcs.com/demo.php and they have good documentation at http://wiki.whmcs.com/Main_Page

There are adjustable automated setup options built into WHMCS to create accounts automatically and send automatic welcome emails if that is what you are asking.

Thanks Vinsar and Bob
Bob, i've looked for that in the configurations in the demo adming panel but i couldn't find something like "creating accounts automatically and sending automatic welcome emails". If you are a user of whmcs, could you tell me where it is in the admin panel, thanks

For a start, you need to add a server (Configuration->Servers) and tell it what type of Control Panel you are using (ie cPanel, HyperVM, etc) and enter the username and password (or access hash for cPanel).

And you also have email templates to edit and modify as per your needs.
You should really look at the documentation.

the documentation (http://wiki.whmcs.com/Main_Page) will help you better than anyone here can. Refer to that when you have questions. If they're still not answered (in this case they are), then you should try the forums (http://forum.whmcs.com/) or their support desk.

Thanks for your replies,
Ok, i will refer to the documentation, i hope i can find everything i need in the documentation.
By the way, it would be cool if someone who uses whmcs give me his msn address. I just need simple instructions.. Thanks

Somewhat off topic, I highly urge you not to completey automate your signup process. There are a lot of creeps out there who would LOVE to sign up and spam through your service. The damage may already be done before you've had an opportunity to terminate their account. It doesn't take much to get yourself banned from the major email providers. Too risky, in my opinion.
