Thanks, Pete jameso 09-03-2002, 07:04 AM Hi peteny, If it was a .com, i would have given it a higher vote. This considered, i have it a 'decent name' vote. peteny 09-03-2002, 07:19 AM Yeah, if it was .com :) You cant even register random letters in .com nowadays :( Incognito 09-03-2002, 09:03 AM You cant even register random letters in .com nowadays There are plenty of good .com's available and thousands deleted every day. As to the name you posted, I would place no value on it. Basically, if I got it for free, I would not use it. Too hard to verbally tell someone the name webhostinc.net. Also, .net reduces value. Acroplex 09-03-2002, 10:23 AM Personally I have a different opinion about .NET domains; I think they are great for all sorts of ISP/Hosting/Design related entities. Also the .net initiative (read: de facto new standard) by Microsoft will substantially boost their value. I have nothing against the "inc" suffix when it does not compete, sound-wise or visually with the prefix; however in your case I find the name a bit cluttered. Overall: 2 out of 5. Neo3Net 09-03-2002, 12:33 PM nywebhost.com RandyL712 09-05-2002, 03:54 PM I hate "inc" and anything but .com personally. Axel Teflon 09-05-2002, 05:08 PM Inc turns away and is a bit off. It would be a better domain if it had a more meaningful point rather than just 'webhosting' I wouldn't fancy having it in .net either. .com is a prefered. |
