Are there any control panels that run on FreeBSD 7.0 64-bit without any tweaking or using 32 bit binaries?

Patrick 08-23-2008, 10:32 AM There are only a few control panels that work with FreeBSD to begin with, and non of them (cPanel, H-Sphere, DirectAdmin) are officially supported nor recommened with version 7.0, especially using all 64 bit binaries. [Firefish] Richard 08-23-2008, 12:15 PM Pat is right, I would suggest using CentOS as almost all control panels support it. FreeBSD is a very old distro of Linux, which is why there isn't much support for it. Patrick 08-23-2008, 12:22 PM FreeBSD is a very old distro of Linux, which is why there isn't much support for it. FreeBSD is actually based off BSD (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BSD), which came before Linux in the 1970's. :) cPanelDavidG 08-25-2008, 02:02 PM There are only a few control panels that work with FreeBSD to begin with, and non of them (cPanel, H-Sphere, DirectAdmin) are officially supported nor recommened with version 7.0, especially using all 64 bit binaries. Actually, cPanel officially supports FreeBSD 7.0 However, we only recommend it for experienced FreeBSD administrators: http://www.cpanel.net/products/cpwhm/cpanel11/sys_requirements.htm andrewk 08-25-2008, 02:10 PM Pat is right, I would suggest using CentOS as almost all control panels support it.
