I'm thinking about investing in a netscreen firewall 5 XP (I think) but as I keep on hearing of people picking up hardware cheap in the US and elsewhere, I was wondering if anybody had any pointers.
As I say, I'm shopping for prices at the moment.

We have quite a few 5 XPs and they are great little units. It's going to be hard to find the best prices by surfing and Netscreen has a new policy where it's Dealers cannot post prices other than list on the web.

Have you seen the new XT. It's a pretty nice little box and is about the same price.

I've seen the XT. Very nice. My main problem is the cost :-(
I have seen a few secondhand (both the XT and older models) on eBay and the prices are excellent, but most of the sellers won't ship outside the US...
The thing with the dealer prices I already noticed, but I'd be more than happy with secondhand hardware.
