I was in a telnet session on my RaQ 4i, logged in as admin, when I noticed the "you have new mail" message. I then realized that since I had that server I did never check for mail (1 week ago). I then opened Pine and I saw that I had 107 messages awaiting. Whoa! I thought that they were too much to be read with Pine, so I fired up Outlook Express.

At this point I really think that I did forgot to close Pine, before. I thought I did it, but looking as the result...

Anyway, the message with "important folder data" was merged with another one and downloaded from Outlook Express (and deleted from the server).

As a result, I can't login anymore to my mail box with Outlook Express and with Pine I get a "Can't open inbox (file /var/spool/mail/admin/): not in valid mailbox format"

Since I am a newbie (and an idiot, I would say) I thought to install the patch from the Cobalt site, updating that way Pine to version 4.33

Of course the problem is still there.

Any good fellow that can give an helping hand?
