I just issued an refund to one of my customer since he canceled his account. I noitce paypal show not the full refund but partial plus whatever fee that paypal charge. Would it show up as a whole on his end?

I'm quite sure PayPal also refunds the transaction fees. Please correct me if I'm wrong!

"Yes. If you send a full refund using the Issue Refund link, PayPal automatically refunds the transaction fees. If you send a partial refund, PayPal refunds part of the fees, based on the refund amount."

It would probably be best to ask and make sure all is well with the refund.

Yes on the clients end it will show up as a whole. The funds refunded by you and the fees refunded by PayPal will be added together before being presented to the client.

I believe there is a period of time where some fees are not applied. I usally offer a 2-3 days refund if any because of this. When i do use the refund within the 2-3 range, all the money gets sent back without any fees applied and they get the full amount back and I dont get charge.

i think that you have option for up to 6 months to issue full refund without any fees applied by paypal

From what I understand it is 60 days instead of 6 months. I'm not 100% sure about this though.
