As you can probably tell, my name is Matt.
I found this forum through a friend of mine who was showing me a thread about a Juniper router he was looking to buy and I was hooked. I've been in and around the hosting world for about 5 years. I used to have a couple semi-popular websites which I hosted on a dedi. Unfortunately I learned that it's hard to admin a server when you don't know how to, so I switched to a managed solution which suited me much better.
Fast forward a couple years, I still have a few websites, but none are big enough to need their own server. I now work with a lot of hosting companies on the hardware side of things however. My company buys, sells, and rents networking/server/storage hardware. Our main areas of expertise are Cisco, Sun, IBM, and Netapp.
Hopefully I can meet some new friends and help some people out along the way!
