First of all, I would like to provide my credentials.
My Name is Tony and I am the Systems Administrator for Dot5hosting. I also handle a lot of the technical support.
I learned a lot of what I know about administering Ensim servers from my experience working at Rackshack during their initial rollout of Ensim. After Rackshack, I spent many months as a freelance Ensim Admin. During this time, I was approached by Chris from Dot5hosting to install a full security package for all the servers at Dot5. Afterwards, Chris was so impressed with my abilities that he hired me to be the Systems Admin.

I am usually handling support during the evening and night through MSN, AIM, ICQ, email, forums, and Helpdesk tickets.
During this time, I also answer many presales inquiries.
I usually receive compliments on my excellent support, as well as on our ability to completely satisfy our customers with any issue.
I have never asked any of our customers to post feedback on any webhosting forums. I realize that Chris has mentioned to some new customers that have found us by way of WHT, that they should reply to the people who suggested us to tell them if we work out well for them.
More than half of our customers find us via WHT, and so it should come as no surprise when a few of them go back to WHT to tell of their experience. I certainly agree that if any host was asking their customers to post positive reviews on WHT, then that would be highly unprofessional. This is exactly what I believe, and would not allow anyone from our company to cause that impression of us.

If anyone has a complaint about our customers posting on WHT, please be professional and issue your complaints to me or Chris.
We do not appreciate the constant attacks towards our customers just because they are satisfied with our service.

And for those of you who intentionally address every positive post about us with negativity, and say that we are pushing our customers to post here to increase our sales, I would really like you to take a look at your motives behind these attacks. In my opinion, if you constantly try to make everyone think that we are doing something such as this, then what you are really trying to accomplish is to make us look unreputable so that maybe some people will decide to avoid our services and possibly consider joining yours instead. Since after all, you certainly never make yourself sound anything short of perfect while policing all the other hosts out there with their unscrupulous conduct.

This kind of bombardment sounds very much like a certain thing called "slander" which as far as I know is very unprofessional as well as illegal.
The only way that it could not be considered slander is if you were to be able to provide evidence that can backup your claim of what we are doing.

I am sorry that my post is so longwinded, but I have been trying to avoid dignifying these attacks with a response for a few weeks now, and have finally decided that it is getting out of hand.

Why are you posting this here? This isn't your forum. So now I guess 18,000 other host can post here telling their sad story about why they feel picked on? :bawling: :bawling: :bawling:

Give us a break. This is lame and shows why people post negatives about you in positives. You do stupid things.

Another thing, commen sense tells us what youi do is push customers here to make post. Lets see, new host, numerous post from newbies, host with 100,000s of cutomers doesn't have any post, hmmm........

Read some of the post. Even you guys stated you didn't mind requesting people to come post here about your service.

So highly of myself?

I am certainly not stating this, nor implying that I am "Better" than anyone.

I am stating opinions, if you equate that as me "thinking highly of myself" keep in mind that I am not a competitor, nor attacking their "Services"

If you want another response please state what your real name is, and what your relationship to this is.

My name is Samuel, it's my real name. Anonymous users are ignored otherwise.

oh please....

Nobody is going to "Contact you" so stating it is rediculous.

This is a public forum and your "Users" are creating doubt by not answering questions, nor prooving they are customers at all.

Most threads by them there is not a mention of their URL they have hosted.

That's enough indication for me that there is something "Weird" about the posts.

I've seen starcraftconfederacy, and it wasn't from your user name, I don't think... or it might be.

2 months? That is a rather short time, but again, why attack me?

I have not stated a thing about dot5's services.

I've been a tad bit busy, so I guess I missed the ton of dot5 posts on the forum (or are there not that many?), however this is the statement by them. If anyone feels that anything is off on the forum, please contact the mods privately and we'll discuss the issue. Some opinions shouldn't be posted on the forums directly as it just casues more problems. In other words, don't create two problems out of one, if there is one.

Edit:

In addition, there are several posts about dot5 telling people to post positive reviews. I need these people to quantify their statements. If they can't, then those who have smeared for no reason will be banned. Simple as that.

I'm willing to hear anything, but in one post, a person states they weren't asked to come and post, someone replies that they 'don't buy it'.

You're free to think what you want, however you won't be permitted to have opinions based on nothing and post flames all over the forum.

Again, the purpose isn't to shut people down, just to be sure that things are right (for everyone) and fair to the host, and to the members.
