My girlfriend went on her lunchbreak at work today, and went and grabbed a couple burgers for her and a co-worker and brought it back to work. One of them had blood all over it, the other had pubic hair in it. MMM MMM :puke:

HOLY $#@! that`s ridiculous.

I would have gone back to that Mc.Donalds and punched their lights out.

Restaurants are like that though. My mom once found a cockroach hiding inside some broccolli in her dish when we went to a chinese restuarant. We notified the waitor and he wouldn`t admit it and told us it`s a "mushroom" not a cockroach. Hmmmm, i didn`t realize mushrooms have antennas and legs.

Must have been a special "chinese mushroom"...

Charles,

It seems that you may be wrong, based on information available on McDonald's Corporate website.

each burger from McDonalds contains about 20g of Fat, and a load or other crap in the burger its self.

If you in any way value your body then id suggest going somewhere else where they prepare things like sandwiches and actually prepare them in front of you while you wait.

I used to goto McDonalds alot but realised it just wasnt doing any good for me, yes, im still tempted, but think about your health first and foremost.

That's pretty gross! I hate eating in ANY public restaurant, even the ones that you think are clean are really pretty dirty. I've been in many restaurant kitchens in my travels.

I can't stand eating McDonald's more than once per week. I find if I eat too much of it I get sick soon after. Harvey's (for us Canadians) is a much healthier choice.

For those who do, here it is (thanks to http://www.topsecretrecipes.com);

1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons French dressing
4 teaspoons sweet pickle relish
1 tablespoon finely minced white onion
1 teaspoon white vinegar
1 teaspoon sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt

1. Combine all of the ingredients in a small bowl. Stir well.
2. Place sauce in a covered container and refrigerate for several hours, or overnight, so that the flavors blend. Stir the sauce a couple of times as it chills.
Makes about 3/4 cup.

Harvey's is by far the best burger joint! Or even A&W.

Nothing pales in gross comparison to McD's.

Well, Subway doesn't make burgers though :) They make sandwiches/subs and salads.. pick everything you want on it and they make it right there in front of you. Then they have sodas, chips, and cookies to wash down all that healthy junk! Didn't you see Happy Gilmore? ;)

Give me anything from their menu and you'll see a happy man...

But, try to get my vegitarian girlfriend to eat something off their menu and you'll see a very pissed off girl....

Blood? Pubic Hair? I do not believe it. If it was really blood, you need to contact your State Health Department and report that store immediately. This isn't just a "Let me call the Manager and get them to give me a free meal deal". Do all of us a favor and call the Health Department and file a report so properly investgations can be started and further incidents can be prevented.

This is why i try to avoid fast-food, esp. McD's...

If this girl just shouted at the manager for what happened, I also fail to believe this is completely true.

Let's go over this again, she found BLOOD on a burger, and PUBIC HAIR on another burger. This is SERIOUS, i.e. get the store SHUT DOWN?

Can't be true if she didn't even take legal action =/

McDonalds is disgusting, I mean the beef in the burger tastes like brown water with thickener, set to dry, then coated in dirt. I'm serious, it tastes like empty food with a disgusting after taste. However, drop by to your local KFC and pick up some crispy strips, tastes like real juicy chicken with all them 'erbs and spices ;)

This thread is from 2002.....but that said....I prefer Mr. Goodsense over Subway any day. They actually slice the meat in front of you, where Subway is processed and then sent to the stores.

It at least gives the impression of being fresher...without actually seeing the lot dates who really know's though.

And while we are on the subject of food...can someone explain the carb craze? Ok, so you cut back on carbs but eat more meat (and other things) in place of it. Let's take the meat example. Wendy's has a burger that you can get wrapped in lettuce instead of a bun. Ok, so you get less carbs....but would the fat in the burger not be a bigger health concern than the carbs? I'm just thinking of clogged arteries and such.

The one thing every diet seems to miss is exercise. Sure you should always watch what you eat....but if you do not exercise, you are forgoing perhaps the best way to lose weight. Not only do you lose the weight, but you build muscle, have more energy, etc.

That is one thing I have never understood about all these fad diets.....exercise should be the core, not taking a pill or wrapping your burger in lettuce.

Unless they have been sitting on the warmer all day  ....then your juicy chicken is dry and tasteless. Our local KFC seems to operate in that fashion on purpose, regardless of the time of day.

Another thread back from the dead!

Regarding the current carb craze, I also see that everywhere. There's even a chain in our area that's advertising on our buses. What's next...the Carb Channel on satellite and cable?

I can't even eat McD's anymore. 20 years ago they made a pretty good burger, but now....

Yesterday I saw a cheese burger for the first time in quite a while. It was a flat, small thing that I couldn't find interesting for the life of me. I haven't the slightest idea how people can bring themselves to eat the stuff (and rest assured I'm the first to enjoy a good burger).
