I found something funny on The Onion today:

http://www.theonion.com/onion3831/search_for_restroom.html

It'd be funnier if it was true. :D

I've had that experience too unfortunately last year.

Most of the toilets in Sydney have converted to pay toilets which is an absolute pain if you don't have spare change.

havnt seen a pay toilet yet but I think it is a good thing. I dont they they should charge for that. But I can see how it can be profitable. Because everyone has to do it :stickout

They're weird :)

However, you don't want to spend too long in there.. if you spend any longer than about 10 mins in there, it begins the cleaning cycle and door opens by itself.

The good thing about them is you don't get people going in there to "shoot up" or whatever.

I normally just duck into an office building, get into an elevator and press a random floor. Just about every building has toilets next to the elevators on each floor :)
