View Full Version : Does Bob really care??
Does anyone use Bobcares?
For a temporary(for apprx. 6 months) solution of a startup company, would they be trust worthy?
Has anyone had any experiences with them?
Im thinking of using them ,but trusting someone esle is hard to do, any suggestions?
eric650 09-02-2002, 10:45 AM everyone says they are trustworthy, but I hear mixed things about their support.
floppy 09-02-2002, 10:55 AM We haven't worked with them, but know they are good people.

jdp29053, They've been discussed on this forum. Why not try the Search feature while you're waiting for someone that's used them to respond to your thread.
clockwork 09-02-2002, 11:51 AM Some of their staff are quite capable in things that are technical.
Don't expect anything but generic messages though.
I would recommend them as a perfect "front line" defense on support.
TheTech 09-02-2002, 11:55 AM LOL -- What a great topic, "Does Bob really care?" Next thing you know, we'll be talking about Jerry's Kids. :D
HostQAMan 09-02-2002, 03:13 PM The experience I had with them was horrible. They only did like 6 tickets a day and the answer quality was horrible! Stay away from them.
Alareach 09-02-2002, 06:56 PM I have used them for about 2 years now (give or take a month or so). They have not been a problem for me, and if anything it has gotten better over the past year as they grew.
They support 19 servers & clients for me w/o any complaints. I also know they support some other larger co's.
They can handle small companies all the way to assigning a team to a whole DC if needed. It is quite an affordable way to hire your own dedicated tech. if you need it also.
Best bet, do a search on the forum and you will find plenty of input.

Nope.
Though 'he' has been starting to show an interest over the last few months. Time to keep an eye on bob to see if 'hes' turned over a new leaf. :)
benoire 09-02-2002, 07:12 PM From my experience I'd steer well clear, I've had some appalling service from them. Some of them are absolutely clueless. That said, there are some techs that are better than others. You could try them out and hope you get some of the not-so-bad ones, but I recommend you don't rely on them too much, or have them handle any even slightly critical problems.
bobcares 09-03-2002, 01:54 AM Care to share the name of the hosting company you own...
It would be nice to know a bit about my clients or past clients too.... :)
Have a great day :)
regards

universal2001 09-03-2002, 02:48 AM They use to be bad, but they are alot better now...
freakysid 09-03-2002, 10:01 AM .
wrong thread
Thing that scares me is that they service so many companies.. I mean,, if it came between me and a huge company i think my clients support request would be overlooked so that they could provide service to the higher paying customer, any though on this?
I havent used them so dont know, but im just wondering if this could happen...
Has anyone had serious issues while they where on the clock for your company, how did they respond?
I mean, do they deal with only low level support or what?
