I am president of a webhosting company, and are currently looking at switch and data, and colo.com for our NOC. We are looking at both cogent communications and yipes for our redundant backbone.

We know cogent is rather new, and in our talks with them, we will be dropping a gb line into our routers. We then will add redundancy with Yipes.

We also know that only 5 people are on the Cogent backbone right now, but many are interested as they do 100mbps lines for 3k. Yipes has a good backbone, and there peer to peer network is good for handoff's and what not.

My question is has anyone else used them. Together, by them selves.
