View Full Version : very small accounts

I am reseller and looking for a host. My problem is that I not only need the common accounts but also a very very small account with following "features":

max 5 MB space, 1 POP3, no database/CGI/PHP
Of course this type of account should be not too expensive.

All hosts I asked are not "able" to provide such an account.

Another question: Has anyone experiences with venturesonline?

Why are they not able to provide such an acount? I don't see what the problem is.

VO? They said if they let one person do this then they have to let all their rellers do it and this would become a billing nightmare.

I can recommend two hosts for you,

http://www.hostmatters.com
and http://www.venturesonline.com

I have been with hostmatters since july and havnt had one problem with them. I recently signed up with venturesonline just to test them out and they seem to be great also.

Ventures Online is superb. I highly recommend them. As for your account, are you looking to resell accounts with those options or is this a one time account?

Resell. And everything should be automated as possible

I have to concur with teck and Zach that VO is certainly good. I know that they are in the process of developing an automated signup script for resellers, but have no idea what the ETA on that is. As for the rest of the automation they give you access to a lot of the features of WHM so most of it is VERY simple.

<<TANGENT>>
I know this is quite off topic, but if I've never mentioned it before, that is my FAVORITE sig. of the board.

I actually got that idea when I first started posting to WHT. Everyone had their nifty sigs and my company isn't even live yet...

If I were a true businessman I'd trademark it... hehe

May I modify it and use it? Maybe not here... at sitepoint or FWS, or maybe here... heck, I just like it... and there was a dev/null sig that was also good, but I can't recall where that was.

Go for it! Maybe you'll get a few laughs :)
