masterhosting 08-10-2008, 06:22 AM I need to know and i'm all ready in the research for some companies like ewebguru.com , is this company a reseller itself or has its servers .As some of this can be seen its information given on its website for servers this information can be seen on google at lot of hosts. As seems it has some ties but is a good one.Can any body sort out but please don't be patriot under nation influnce. same to *****hosting.com
PremiumHost 08-10-2008, 07:10 PM I'm not quite sure what you mean exactly.
There are plenty of hosts offering reseller hosting service.
If you have specific questions about ewebguru, you should send presales email to ewebguru.
masterhosting 08-11-2008, 12:11 AM But how can i believe they will offer true answers as it seems they are overselling as well as are resellers..
vpsRus 08-11-2008, 02:33 AM I think I understand you're question. You're wondering if some companies are using master resellers to sell reseller accounts.
This is a tough question to answer and usually you can do "tracerts" to find the answer of who the host is on that domain or using DNS tools to track down the datacenter/provider. Usually this will give you a good heads up on who you're actually buying from
ashokmehta 08-11-2008, 03:01 AM if you are asking about ewebguru then he seems to be reseller and not an established and prfessional web host.
if you see his website it looks like a template.
masterhosting 08-11-2008, 03:36 AM Dear Ashok seems can't work i too know there template and above two buttons don't work as well. But they write they haev there own servers and if you look there data center information and find those lines in google it will be seen on many webhosting companies same bit by bit workind. There i doubt , may be i am wrong but i feel so, and need to know where they get hosting, as there uptime is nice as i have webmonitoring to one of there clients. Just from past months i find error for 15 minutes on my monitoring .
Can you see now...waiting
diligent 08-11-2008, 03:54 AM Doing an rDNS query can sometimes give a hint as to where the hosting is coming from, however that all depends if the reseller is using a dedicated IP and has rDNS set up on it or not.
masterhosting 08-11-2008, 03:55 AM and some about highfluxhosting ...but first above ..
And can you tel me that dns tools
masterhosting 08-11-2008, 04:00 AM if only dedicated ip is working ..then...can you suggest me a host that own servers give nice space good bandwidth and as well whmcs ? hostnine.com but that is a bit coslty for small 15 GB space

I'm not familiar with ewebguru but I take great discomfort with you calling this hosting company unprofessional simply because they're a reseller.
If company XYZ purchases a reseller account from host ABC, why does this make XYZ an unprofessional host? As long as the service is dependable, technical support is helpful, & billing is clear and proper, where's the crime?
If they are dishonest about their reseller status, well that's another thing. But being unprofessional simply because they're a reseller? I'm not sure I agree with that.
Just my opinion...
Rick

You want them to give you WHMCS in the package? Do people do that?

Yes, some hosts provide a WHMCS license for some of their reseller plans, sometimes as promotional offers.
RalphC 08-13-2008, 01:01 AM Sometimes you can't tell if a company is a reseller...the company uses a private dns to hide that the fact that a reseller is a reseller. I agree...as long as the company offers quallity hosting and support...I don't really care about it being a reseller.
helloashok 08-18-2008, 09:00 AM Hi,
I am from eWebGuru, and we have our own servers, we started as resellers, we still have some reseller account active. But we now own many servers. What we have written in our website is correct.
As some one has pointed out we have great uptime. You can check our uptime here

Yes our design is template based, but it does not affect our service.
PositiveNoize 08-18-2008, 07:11 PM All companies resell at some level or another. Data Centers resell the lines they acquire, web hosting providers resell the dedicated servers & space they acquire, reseller resell the resold space and so forth.
At the end of the day, so long as the company is reliable, upfront and honest about what they do and they are able to provide me with a reliable service, I really don't care if they are at the top or near the bottom.
Do keep in mind, however, that going through 3 levels of support may take a bit more time if it is with a reseller using a resold package.
rikahsdesign 08-19-2008, 09:33 PM Is siteground one of these companies?
