I am making my annual actions about the prices increase, but, as far i remember, last year with this days of the rise price, we have three offers.

One was the moniker 6.85 transfer in with 5.00 for nets.

Reseller club with the 4.99 net transfers and renewals.

And the last was the regosterflies coupons.

Well, i think this year we not get the reseller bash, the actual net promo is ugly, and nobody declares yet their new prices.

I had 2 grands in reserve and planning to use around 22 september, but i cant get numbers yet of the new prices, then i am sending my worst domains to stargate for do SOMETHING.

With a little help, i think we get the new prices around the 16 of this month.

From what I have heard, the price would be changed around mid of October.

As happened last year, every registrar avoided giving their new prices until a few weeks before the price increase

I'm checking my email history with Resellerclub, and they sent the email on 26th September, the price was increased on 12th October, barely 2 weeks before, when registrars are notified 6 months in advance.

The know how much will they pay but will not tell us until the last minute. Waiting for other registrars pricing, considering their new cost would be 6.87$ + 0.20$ (ICANN fee) = 7.07$, the will bump the new price another 50 cents from their current pricing, but they will avoid to tell customers as much as they can.

Licantropo, I'm doing like you, tranfering a lot of domains to another registrar, as i told a few days ago in a comment in your blog ;)

Oh yeah =) Is the only sane movements for the domain holder, no sellers.

By the way, i renew silently around 30 of my more important domains to 10 years, and in some weeks i transfer the last year to Moniker.

What price does moniker give for last year? Is it special price?

They have special prices for Namepros Members, is easy get that price, and for all have current a special.

I get a better price than that for volume, and is my choice for important domains. Seek here in the forum a thread about why moniker rocks for OWNERS, no sellers.

Name.com is still the cheapest at $5.99 for .com using coupon XUP599. I don't know if it also works for transfers.

By the way, Moniker Have an offer, Godaddy ever present promos ,but both dont say new prices yet, and dynadot no promo and no new prices. i hope they dont do the same as last year.

I don't think most registrars are going to announce their prices before Verisign does. NameCheap were an exception. They raised their prices expecting a 7% increase from Verisign (which is the most likely outcome).

i htink resellersclub has already released heir pricing..

Verisign announced the price rise in April, according to contract with icann they have to announce it 6 months advance, so registrars now the exact price Verisign will charge them. exactly a 7% increase from current 6.42$, that would be 6.87$ + 0.20$ icann fee, thats 7.07$

I think moniker has upped the price for transfers. It's now 7.29/6.04 for .com and .net transfers, respectively.

I have a .net I am having to transfer soon, preferably before the price hike. Is 6.04 the cheapest for a .net transfer?

Nifty : 7.44 is the normal in moniker for coms.

6.04 Moniker if your are a member of namepros.. Is a good price.
5.75 For BULK in dynadot, and
4.99 for RENEWAL in internet.bs
5.95 in www2.stargate.com

At the moment i have no notice of one TRUSTABLE better price, the next in price(6.45) ranges are resellone.net and i go to sign with them soon. By the way, i am going to renewal 1000 USD with Domaincentral at 6.5, but no infos.

Internet.bs looks good, have around 10 domains with them and no problem.

Not really. My 'question' was a strange thing now they delay the new prices very much, except Dynadot , enom and namecheap.

By the way duynadot not answer yet org and infos price.

I dont RC not receive the notice you say in RC, but i dont use them much ( i have 3000 and 1500 tabs ) and dont plan use excepto for SOME customers in the future.

In dynadot exist a thread about asking them for a reseller service... and, i was thinking BEFORE the price raise of RC in moving to them, reseller enabled or not.
