just when you think life gets good it turns bad...so unpredictable. below is a story that happend to me and 2 friends yesterday.

I had put in 60 hours the past week and was tired so me and a friend and his brother decided that we would go to the lake (we forgot that it was labor day weekend). There's two ways to get to the lake one is through the base (which you have to get a visitors permit which is sorta pain) or you can go up this 23 mile road that is like the worst road on earth. So us being smart and all went down the rough road (in my friends mom's mini van). We're doing pretty good the first 10 or so miles but we come around a corner and see a puddle thayt was like 1 foot deep we had no reaction time so we just flew through it at like 25mph. Well right afgter we get out of the puddle the van dies. Well logic would tell you "hey the engine's wet the whatever i forget what its called got wet" so we sat there like 20 minutes thinking it would dry. Tried to start it again it would not start. So out of the blue a guy in a sand rail (dune buggy for people who dont know what a sand rail is) he stopped nad helped us out. He had a tool box so we took the cover off (like i forget what they call it but its like the hting that covers the engine inside the van where it has the cup holders and crap on it). To find out that the whole engine was dry. So he told us he would tow us back to his camp which was like 10 miles up the road (right by the lake). So he hooks us up. Well the first part was all up hill so me and my friends brother got out and pushed. Well it finally got some speed so we tried to jump back in the van but couldn't keep up so they kept on going so that they wouldn't have to stop and lose all thier momentum. Well as we were running to catch up some stupid drunks (a guy and a girl) pull out of no where in a ford crap box ranger (im a ford fan lol) and liek their front right tire was blown out and they didn't relize it they got within like 4 inches of hitting me (i didn't hear them come up on me) and i juimped back and the lady is like trying to hand me a beer or holdin her hand out the window(which ever i dont know lol) and asks me where this like campground is course i dont know so i just say i dont know and walk off. well we catch up to the van and right as we got their they were going up another hill and the rope breaks. Then the drunks show up. The guy in the buggy is liek "well ill go back to camp grab a truck and a chain" and takes off. All the while we are standing there with the van and about 100 feet behind us is the drunks like staggering out of the crap box truck. It appears that the guy atleast has a gun just cause he kept sticking his hand in his pocket pulling out something shinny (just instinct). So i grabbed a metal rod and hoped they would come over cause i've always wanted to beat the crap out of someone like this. Unfortunetly they didn't come over. But they were like screaming at us asking if we had a spare (just so happens they had one in the back of their crap box truck). The guy who was towing us back comes with liek 3 others and a big truck (ford w00t) and pulls us back to a parking lot near his camp. We park the truck mess with it like 20 minutes trying to get it to start. Never starts so they take us up to a part of the mountain so we could call someone to come get us. Well we did and on the way back the drunks are walking up the road. And they just like jump out in the middle of the road (like the lady holds her hands up standing right there in front of the truck) without asking they automaticly jump into the back of the truck where we were sitting. the lady had ::Cough cough:: peed her pants (totally nasty) and the guy was so wasted it took him twice to get into the back of the truck. lol and it was dark and he walks up to me and is like "hey there's people back here" lol i was about to punch him thank god i didn't. we get back to the guys camp and he was gunna take them to the sheriff, He droped us off and so we were bored and made him a huge butt camp fire. Anyways finally our parents show up at like 10pm we go down to get some stuff out of the van and my dad just happens to fix it (took him like 30 seconds). I guess there's some protection in a van so that like if your in an accident the fuel injection shuts off (in the puddle we hit a big bump) anyways the fuse blew he replaced it started it up and off we were. One heck of a night.

Anyhow thats my story. I've come to the complete conclusion that I will never buy a gm vehicle. Ford ownz!
