I've never used Crafty Syntax Live Help, but cPanel has that on Fantastico De Luxe aswell

you can also try hotscripts for other scripts and applications like the live chat and other things.

Crafty isn't bad, but helpcenterlive looks more pro in my eyes

To be totally honest with you, you are not going to get a great script for free, but there are some great cheap scripts out there, We used to use PHPLive, That was absoloutly fantastic. Kayako also had a great system with a wonderful desktop app, but Kayako is extremely pricey, Or it was last time i looked.

We've been playing with Help Center Live over the past few months and like it. It's worth checking out before you make the jump to a paid solution like Kayako.

HelpCenterLive is pretty good but I believe that Crafty has more features than HelpCenterLive. I would highly recommend Crafty because they seem to have more features for a free live support script than HelpCenterLive.

You might want to check IntelliLiveHelp service. Installation is easy and lots of useful features. Unlimited number of operator seats and sites to track ;)

I tried HCL but with no joy and had to give up after a few months. I needed some support and found that hard to come by. Then again, as I kept being reminded, it is free. Trying OCC now with some joy but still hunting. IntelliLivehelp looks good and Kayako at $300 fully owned looks really good to any euro folk!

Thanks Internet-guru - why on earth doesn't this product get a higher profile?!?!?!? I would never have found it and I have SEARCHED believe me. Thanks. It looks ... unbelievably good.

... oh yeah and the support is brilliant, instantaneous, thorough, helpful - and support is one thing I have found a serious problem with other packages.

Ya their support is quite awesome! They said they learn something new on my server everyday because I frequent their live chat nearly everyday because my sites server is really secure and doesn't like scripts all that much:P They helped me with doing a reinstall and what not.

No problem:) I really did wish it had a higher profile because it's frickin' awesome!

I'm not sure that learning a new thing everyday on your servers is such a recommendation ... but how do we give them a legup? I checked your site but couldn't see a live chat thingummy ...
