Excluding your own country domain extension for your business.. in a list of 4, which would you say are the most important, starting from the most important, #1, down to #4.
Remember to exclude your own country extension as this is a must have anyway. (in most cases)

My answers are still the same. I don't think many people recognize the .org domain extension for a business. Sounds like a school, or government organization. Although then again I don't think many people think of the .info domain name either, so I don't know.

1. .com
2. .net
3. .org
4. .info
1).com
2) .net
3) All the rest, but they're far, far down on the list: info, biz, cc, ws... doesn't matter which. Most people either pay no attention at all to the TLD, in which case it doesn't matter, or will be skeptical that you don't have the .com -- or will end up at that site by mistake anyway.
And it depends on the business. For an Internet-related business a .net has a good "feel" -- but even then you're much better off if you own the .com as well. In most cases, I'd rather take a seemingly weaker .com name my first choice in than any of the "second class" TLDs.
This is assuming you're talking about your regular "Internet presence" domain name. In seo I don't mind using the other extensions in order to keep keyword presence in the name for gateways and mini-sites. But to carry the company's identity a .com is too far superior not to make every effort to put yourself there.

Personally .net looks natural with many internet related businesses. I mostly register .net despite the .com being available..
