That is correct, but LimeStoneNetworks is unmanaged. We are providing management within the price, as stated in the initial post.

Are these resold from Limestone?

Actually.. almost definitely are. But I just thought I'd check.

Just a question, how can you resell those servers if LSN themselves are out of stock ? oO

We are getting them on a pre-order basis, and the setup time is extended to 24-48 hours as we await a shipment.

Crissic, I have a dedicated server with you guys that has been offline now for almost 12 hours. I have sent in 2 support tickets and tried to call you guys twice. Each time I get voice mail (your site says 24x7 support). I hate to post like this in a public place but I want your attention because I havent gotten a response in several hours.

PS: server IP 66.96.229.53, account email jkruse[at]unlnotes.unl.edu

Issue is resolved; looks like BurstNET didn't reply to the original ticket I had open; sorry about that.

Thanks. I appreciate it. I'd like to tell all other potential buyers that outside of this incident (which was a fluke), I've been with crissic for a few months now and they've been a great host overall :)

Hi,

Could you please explain semi management...

Specifically would I still get root access... Would you be responsible for control panel installs and keeping the server patched and secure?

Semi-management is a basic management covering your control panel and operating system. Yes, of course you would get root access.
