i don't get this... i just did a traceroute to www.exodus.com and it was hosted on level3... !!! the ip it resolved to, a level3 ip... ???? but i haven't heard anything of an exodus/c&w buyout of level3... hmm... footprint.net is owned by digital island, another one of c&w's companies... ... ...

What ISP are you on?

My trace to them didn't include that footprint.net stuff... I think you might be stuck behind a proxy.

Hmmmm, maybe Exodus sucks so bad that they decided to NOT host their own site :D

It's on a content delivery system. That's why everyone is getting different IPs all the time, depending on which ISP u are on, you will be directed to the nearest content server. ex. Akamai
