View Full Version : Anybody ever use ManageandSupport.com?
SHSSteve 07-30-2008, 07:13 AM | Just wondering if anybody here has ever used manageandsupport.com?
I did a search for reviews but all I can find is threads in offers and requests forums. |
nerdster 08-01-2008, 08:53 PM I'm curious also, I just learned of them. |
PinellasHosting 08-21-2008, 11:55 AM | It seems a little pricing but perhaps they cater to a particular market with lots of needs. I have never heard of anyone using them. |

Hello,
I wanted to reply to this last comment posted by one of the WHT members. Describing our plan prices as pricy is not really true. The two plans that we offer are targetted towards hosting companies who have more than one server. Let me give you a more detailed example. Lets say you have 4 servers and you need a monitoring and server administration for them and you sign up with PSM. You will already be spending ~$100/month. This will still not include direct support to your hosting clients from your helpdesk. Adding to that the more servers you add to management companies as PSM the higher your monthly fee would be. However, the plans that we organized are all for unlimited servers and tickets therefore our prices are in reality are extremely cheap.
If anyone has any doubts please email us.
Thanks |
Max78 09-15-2008, 08:13 PM It`s a first time I hear about manageandsupport.com... Never used their services |
RSkeens 09-15-2008, 10:30 PM Are you sure it's a good idea to support unlimited servers and tickets for a base price? Say for instance a client of yours has ten servers, the monthly income from him would be about $35 per server.
I just find it difficult to understand how one could offer server administration and unlimited support in the instance above. |
Srv24x7 09-16-2008, 04:42 AM Being a US based pricing i really wonder how they manage with that price :) |
clickitservices 09-16-2008, 10:13 AM I very much doubt they are in the US at those prices!
however i did notice something they say unlimited tickets, this i assume is not your helpdesk tickets, but tickets you send to them. as the Plan 2 says as above but we also manage your live chat & your Level 1 tickets. (ie password resets). |

Thanks for your input. Yes, we are totally sure about this pricing model. Our service is targetted towards more established providers who have smaller budgets but more than 1 server. |

Yes, we are based in New York, U.S. :).
And we do provide direct support from your helpdesk. You do not need to send tickets to us for us to respond to them. When a ticket arrives in your helpdesk we will respond to it directly as a member of your company. You can also submit server administration/security tickets using our helpdesk for the administrative portion of the plan #1 or plan #2.
In addition in Plan #2 we also handle your sales tickets and offer 24/7 live chat support for sales and support departments. Also done directly from your helpdesk. |
domper 09-21-2008, 05:30 PM How many techs do work for your company actually?. You offer unlimited servers & tickets support with 1 hour response time (no canned response) and 4 hours resolution time (most of the time) so I could imagine that there must be at least a coulpe of techs per shift. Just wonder know how many techs are available per shift for the management service. |

That is correct. Per each shift we currently have atleast 4 techs on site. Depending on the shift's time it might be more as there are times of the day that are much more busier than the rest.

The prices listed for plan #1 and plan #2 are only for servers with cpanel as a control panel. If you need support for any other control panel please contact us and you will be given a customized quote.
