Seem like sensible bids to me .... three-character domains (especially ones with seemingly no use) don't go for much. Go check out some domain auctions, you'll see what I mean.
Incognito 08-31-2002, 10:35 AM Three character domains, in my opinion, are good only if you can come up with an appropriate name for it. And, of 3 characters, the worst are those with the number in the middle.
For instance, EV1 works well because they could use it for EVeryones's Internet. I have a few that I will use like WV5 for Web Vision 5, but i also have the full name.
The only use I come up with for n1z is if you had a store or site related to Z's (as in the car) and you could make it the Number 1 Z Store.
XTStrike 08-31-2002, 10:50 AM yep, the people are correct, theyre not very expensive, there is one on ebay at the moment better than the one you advertise (IMO)

I wouldnt hold your hopes too high at selling it for huge profit.
Sorry for the bad news.
now if you had something like USA.COM or SEX.COM now there worth alot of money :D
XTStrike 08-31-2002, 10:53 AM just dont hold your hopes up as high as this guy:

LMAO
dynamitehost 08-31-2002, 11:10 AM ummmm.... that guy is joking right?
i wouldnt take that domain for free :cartman:
tazzy 08-31-2002, 11:11 AM I'll buy sex.com for $10 ...
If the bearing in mind it makes $10million a year profit.. and above... I think $10 is a fair price... don't you :stickout
I still don't know what if I was to offer for this domain i'd use it for
Acroplex 08-31-2002, 02:26 PM Incognito hit the nail on the head. The rest of the comments range from humorous to clueless.
I've sold over 130 3-char .COM domains in 6 months, there is a large market for them. And no, you can't just register ANY 3-char .COM - go check how many are available (hint: not many as I snap a lot of them :D )
ikiwi.net 08-31-2002, 03:40 PM 11.99 ?
dynamitehost 08-31-2002, 04:55 PM I'll raise the bids.... $12 :D
n1z here I come.... jeez, i think i might rule the web with this domain
I dont think he necessarily cheats anyone. At least he starts his auctions at a reasonable price without a million-dollar reserve. If people think they're getting a hot deal on letter-number-number.com that's their business (or loss).
ikiwi.net 09-03-2002, 03:16 AM $14
