Does it allow backup of remote databases?

Also, does it allow backup of cpanel hosting accounts? (ie: User specifies cpanel un/pw and the backup software will automatically do a "full" backup?)

The program runs on the end user's PC. It doesn't run on the server. The purpose is to backup files on the the user's computer.

Yes, I see that. However, there are lots of other backup solutions that also run on the client's PC and can backup databases and cpanel accounts.

Since you're obviously on web hosting forums marketing your software to web hosting providers... it makes sense that your software would be able to backup common things that our client's want backed up... like their online databases and cpanel account files.

I understand what you mean. However, the web hosting market is not only restricted to cpanel. Therefore we feel a cpanel integration is not necessary at the moment.

Makes sense. However, the ability to backup databases with a db server/un/pw would be very beneficial, since many hosting customers have databases.

Anyway, the point I'm making is that your software would be more likely to attract hosting company buyers if it has hosting specific features.

There are perhaps a hundred other backup software on the market, some with the same specs as yours.. so without some kind of "reason why yours is better" that appeals to this specific market, your sales might be lower then they could be otherwise.

Consider them ideas for new features. :)

Personally, I think your software looks good.. but I would not provide it to my hosting customers since it does not perform one of the most critical functions they need (which we are constantly reminding them to do) -- backups of their databases and cpanel accounts.
