I am curious.

The outage today at VDI...

How did it affect your business?

How much money was lost?

Lets all get our calculators and see if we qualify for disaster relief?

:-)

I think george bush flew in from washington to assest the damages. if enough, we will be elegible for federal relief aid and a disaster area will be declared. they will send in the army to help out in case riots and looting take place ..

other than that, HAPPY ST. PAT's DAY! Forget the downtime and drink up baby!

cheers!

Oh boy...once people realize everything is back up, I think this thread will get huge. The mods better double their time here to keep the cussing down so monitors dont start exploding on this thread.....

oh so that's what it was! two of my websites were down too. all i heard from my host was that it was something wrong with the network "upstream". or maybe that wasn't the same thing. hmm. then again i think both my sites that went down were on VDI. sigh. does anyone know if this is a one-off thing or...*shudder*?

Hello there

Immediate losses $100 in refunds under 30 day guarantee.
Losses on those customers future payments - $1000+

Losses in goodwill - anybodys guess!
(nasty comments posted to news groups will not help business development)

I am so glad I still have my mail at Alabanza because I was able to keep in touch with customers - I think that helped a lot.

I am just thinking about some of the bigger companies that had their phone ringing off the hook.

Geese, there must have been lots of angry customers...
