Hiya i had joomla 1.5.3 installed and was working fine all along untill yesterday nite i could not preview my site with any template even with the defaults ones that are already installed as i get tis msg "404 - Component not found

Can anyone enlighten me how to slove this two issues, any help will be appreciated, Thanks Very Much.

There could be many reasons, maybe due to upgrades or changes on server, have you talked t your host? BTW what platform are you hosting it on, which control panel?

More information you provide better for you.

Perhaps your host has changed some of the default settings, if you have not changed some of the setting on your own. You should contact your host make sure that they have not changed the php, apache, mysql settings.

I dont think so its my host changed any settings as i went onto joomla support forum i seen quite a number of people having 404 error issues and i also posted for help there but havent get any response.

Also my sister who is doing her project using joomla plugin chronoform also experience the 404 error issue on one of the page and she is hosted on Yahoo Webhosting but mine is hosted elsewhere and im hosting on linux platform cpanel...i did not do any upgrade as i manually install joomla 1.5.3 myself and things were working fine untill one of my fren who went to add some new menus and change the webpage title which everything was working fine a few weeks since installation untill one nite the error msg pop up....anyone had any idea wad possible issues cause tis error to be generated??
