Has anyone transfered a domain from Easyspace to an Enom reseller.

Can Easyspace charge a leaving transfer fee,

Thanks

Easyspace are ICANN accredited, they can charge what they like for what ever.

It doesn't matter if you are ICANN accredited or not - as a business, you can charge whatever fees you want for whatever services you offer.

If a customer decides to sign up for domains you are selling for $1, and you charge them $30 to define nameservers in your system, or to transfer away, that's perfectly legal. As a business model it's not very customer friendly, but there is nothing illegal about it - ICANN accreditation or not.

The reason I mentioned they are ICANN accredited is because if they were reseller, users could complain to the ICANN registrar if the reseller was being out of order.

When a registrar is ICANN accredited, there is no one to complain to but ICANN who are not very helpful.

just to drag up this old thread.

dotcomster, did you need to do anything in regards to easyspace or did the enom transfer process push it through?
