I've been using godaddy for years now and they've served me well, but recently it's become unbearable.
My old server IP's are set up with ns1.domain.com and ns2.domain.com so I logged into my account to change this to my new servers IP's. I go to "Delete" ns1 and ns2, but to no avail.
Apparently it's now impossible to delete these with godaddy. It's utterly stupid.
I've now had to set dns1 and dns2, which is far from perfect, as it means changing every single one of my domains, and I have over 70 and they're dispersed throughout different registrars. ;|
Damn you godaddy!

Was there no edit function?
Or, at least, submit ticket to change manually?

On Godaddy's new interface, you must select the "custom" DNS tab to edit the name servers.
Please excuse this if you have already tried this option.

I would contact customer support and see if they can help you resolve the problem. I've been with Godaddy for a while now and have found them to be excellent personally.

I'm still happy with godaddy but I do agree the new way of editing your name servers is lame.

Nameservers are fine, I've found they still update very fast, the problem however is with adding DNS hosts, so I can use my domain with my server, to create nameservers.
I had an old server with I had ns1 and ns2 set up with, so I wanted to switch ns1 and ns2 to the new servers IP's, but it won't work. I can't delete them either.
I'm now stuck with using "one.domain.com" and "two.domain.com" which is far from ideal, infact it's rather bad.

Usually, you do not need to delete the nameservers just to update the IPs. AFAIK, the Registry will not let you to delete them if there are domains that use them.

Contact Godaddy about it. Im sure they'd be glad to help. For me, I use godaddy for my domains but for hosting i go elsewhere.
