I only mentioned him because a) I could not think of any other banned member, and b) a few people had already nominated him.

Again, to clarify, TimPD is eligble because he was an active member in August. Whether he was a good member or not is not my call, nor should it matter.

For you to dare and say I'm only here to up my "post count" really shows what kind of person you are. I too apologize. I'm a news group veteran, and I tend to get a little defensive sometimes when I think I am being flamed. I should have known better than to take that offensive.

To be eligible for the final voting, all nominees must have at least 3 nominations.Because it would greatly influence on who I would nominate.

Hi akash,
If you are not getting much response it maybe because
I thing this Area "The Lounge"
may be the less visited area for two reasons.
First is when we all actually have paying work to do its probably
the last place one visits if you can make time to visit WHT.

The second is that newbies(myself included) may leave this area to you folks who have many more posts because you all down here have an old friendship.

Maybe you should post this up in the hosting forum if the mods will let you

You'd probably be better off doing away with the three nominations rule. After all, that's making it as if the voting has already begun. Let anyone make a nomination and have a vote among those nominated. I'm pretty sure that's the way this was done in the past, and as I remember there were never more than a handful of nominees anyway. And usually not more than a few dozen votes in the end, so expecting multiple nominations of the same people is assuming a lot more interest in this than there's ever been.

very true and for the first couple of months i just might have to do this........

.......so for right now (meaning just august for right now) anyone nominated will be up for the voting....
