I am using hostgator and hostmonster shared package from some time before. Now I want a reseller package. Both of them provide good customer service. HG is quite expensive, which is the best web hosting for reseller package ?

I used to have a reseller package with HostGator, but I didn't have it very long. The short time I did have it, the service was pretty good. I'm not sure what your budget is, but have a look at ScarabWeb (http://www.scarabweb.com). I had a reseller account with them for a couple months -- fantastic support and great prices.

When I was with Hostgator with my own personal Reseller account (this is been quite a while now) everything was great for about two months and then it seemed that the server was down an hour here or there, just about every day. Their support is pretty good/responsive but I think once the reseller server gets "full" things start to go down hill as all of the resellers on the server create more and more accounts.

I've never used HostMonster.

To be honest I don't know anything about host monster and haven't been hearing the best about hostgator lately, but it varies really I'm sure they are great people. But just to shoot out a recommendation would be Innohosting. I researched them here on the forums and always see great reviews about them. Also I hear they treat you great over there. I've noticed that on hand whenever I ask them questions through their live support since I'm going to be getting a reseller account of my own from them.

But keep doing your homework, it took me a while to come to my conclusion, don't limit yourself.

I do not have experience with Hostmonster but HG simply rocks.

If your budget is low when I recommend Surpasshosting. We glad their services(good uptime, fast support, rich features with affordable prices). They member of Hostdime. If you can increase your budget when Hostdime is little better and they have phone support, too.

What domain did you have hosted with Surpasshosting?

Sirius

HG is quite expensiveYou can't expect reseller hosting to feature the space and data transfer that budget shared hosting does. On average, resellers use more than shared hosting customers do (after all, each reseller account hosts several shared hosting accounts), so the sustainable overselling levels will be smaller.

HG's offer, even for reseller hosting, is actually on the cheap side of things.

We have a hosting service, too. The main domain name hosted on Hostdime. We have a lot of reseller accounts on Hostdime and Surpass. We have hundred and hundred active customers. But I cannot give our customer references in here for security purpose. Hostdime and Surpass are same company. The server specifications are same. But they don't provide phone support for surpass customers only. So Surpass prices cheaper than Hostdime.

After 7 different companies since 2004, HawkHost is the best that've found. (HawkHost customer since February 2007.)

What is your current budget and what is your future budget? You will need to decide on what specification you need. Once this is done, it will be easy for you to choose one.
