I'm having some difficulty finding a reseller that allows both multiple SSH accounts and has git and svn available on the server. As you've probably guessed, I'd like to be able to develop and deploy web applications under the different accounts.

Anyone know of any good resellers that fit the description? Thanks!

Did you find any hosts offering this?

SSH access you can get only by request on many web hosting providers. I would recommend you first of all search for the reseller host and then ask if web host will be able to give you SSH.

HowieI'm afraid not; I did eventually settle on GeekStorage which has SVN and will enable jailshell access by request. No git, but I guess that's just to be expected. Maybe one day!

Honestly, I think a dedicated server is the best fit for a user like yourself. You're obviously actively developing and many providers may try to dissuade that in their production environments. If a dedicated isnt in your budget, you are, in my opinion, the ideal candidate for a VPS solution. I am often critical of how often a VPS is recommended as an alternative to reseller hosting, but, in this case in particular, it would seem to be the best fit and is the perfect niche for a VPS.

SVN client is available almost at any host, however, you may have problems with git though.

I'm surprised you're having a hard time finding someone who'll install git for you. Easily installable with yum from the CentOS repos, but a more recent version would probably have to be fetched from Dags' repo.

Hosting an installation of gitorious might be a little different, of course.
