Is anyone else having major problems with JaguarPC?

We have a reseller account on their elnos server and it goes down every evening without fail. They bring it back online and then our email is stuck on the server. This is killing us!

What is worse is they genuinely do not seem to care. Their standard response is "There will be a new server coming in a few weeks and we can move you then if you want"

Who wants to wait a few weeks?

There is a right way and a wrong way to handle major downtime and JaguarPC doesn't seem to understand the difference.

It makes me appreciate true quality hosts such as BlueWho all the better. OK, they may be relatively expensive but then their servers almost never go down and if they do you get a definite sense they are working hard to get it back online ASAP.

I should think they are a big enough company to have some servers ready to go, which they could use in case of an elusive hardware/software issue.

Their sister company wow vps was also having some trouble with downtime and customer support issues. they came in to help, finally setting up a server after 2 weeks, but then the server failed multiple times.

I'm very surprised to hear these things about jaguarpc/wow vps as they have traditionally had a good rep here on wht.

I had purchased a reseller from them before and had canceled it. Because their server was slow and the hardware(ram etc.) was low. Their support was poor and slow according to me.

Did you try to contact them directly? Any news on their forums?

Hi ChrisBowd,

We are waiting for the new server to arrive but it will not take few weeks , it should be available in few days. But we are not going to wait for that and will move your account to one of our other servers.

This existing server is facing some issues which require us to get a new server ready and move all clients on this server to the new one.

But we have slots available on our existing servers as well and we will move your account before the new server gets ready. I am going to update your ticket with further information , please follow up with that.
