View Full Version : Trying to find good co-location

I'm getting ready to launch an Entertainment web site in the next 6months, and am currently looking around for a nice Co-location hosting site. I've looked online at different places and came to the conclusion. Sure they say they have great service, but what do the customers think, and what do the employees that work their think. I was just curious as to where the best co-location locations are, and a link to their website. And any other information you could pass along about the really really bad ones, or the ones that go above and beyond what they have to, to make sure they keep their customers happy.

My top 3 for colocation would be:

1. Rackspace.com
2. VenturesOnline.com
3. NAC.net

Use the SEARCH function on these forums though, Im sure you'll come up with some good companies.

You should call DigitalForest(www.forest.net). They arent small or big. But they are very good.

Last time I checked, Rackspace didn't offer colocation.

Rackspace will do colocation if you already have a managed server with them.

I don't think I've ever heard any complaints from their customers at all...

Very reputable company. Cheap prices, too. . .

I've had a small personal server there for 3 months and have had no network downtime and the network is quite fast.
