Not sure how many providers are operating from the UK here but figured would give this a shot...

Most accountants in the UK seem absolutely clueless when it comes to internet services, providing services across borders and the VAT implications of this.

Anyone have some good contacts in this field that actually understand tax law for e-services companies.

Close to London or Cardiff would be most helpful.

what sort of advice you need from them. Mine is pretty good after a whole set of them over the years. Their charges depends on what you need. It is always best if you can do as much as possible, then the cost will come down.

I would say with VAT issue, it is best just to charge it, then put that on the form as export. That will clear a lot of verify their VAT no etc.
