what's average?

i put in an urgent request because all but one of my sites are down and i haven't heard a peep out the support people.

i'm still new at this and don't know what's average.

this time i didn't do it. i was at work, got home from a night out and had a call from one of my clients that her site and email are down. i went to check and sure enough.

that was about an hour ago. i reported it but haven't heard so much as a peep out of my tech support people with my provider.

i looks as if the dns for those domains went away but i've check the domain register and they are showing the correct dns servers. i am out of things to check. please give me some direction so i can quit panicking.

thanks

Could you give us, at least, one url?

ok...panic is easing. i just got off im with my sister. she can see them...

tanji.org

corbinco.net

those are placeholder pages because i just got them up and running. we're awaiting graphics.

i guess it's a problem with my rr's dns servers (god...i hope that's all it is)

the thing is that i can see my site, help-key.net fine and it's the primary and the others are secondary but i don't know if plesk sees it like that or not.

Yep. They come up fine.

thanks...i wonder why they still don't show up on my systems?

i can see the main but not the others. i have turned off my hosts file. i have rebooted the cable modem. about the only thing left is to reboot the switch.

does that sound plausible?

Try to do a traceroute and see where the problem is.

Are these new sites? Have they propagated yet?
