I am thinking about opening a hosting company and came over a thread with VHCS mentioned in it. VHCS looks like a very good free control panel for web hosts but I am wondering if it has high enough standards to use for web hosting. Is it secure enough and do you think it offers enough features to be used to sell web hosting with?

Simple advice, don't use current free panels if you want to sell hosting, they are not mature enough as of now for business hosting (selling, reselling etc.)

You can have a look at DirectAdmin, LxAdmin if you don't want to spend much and they are quite good, moreover check out at offers section where you can get control panel of your choice bundled with the server.

Any other thoughts?
