I would like some feedback on the following questions:

1. Do you provide free billing software to your clients?

2. Do you charge setup fees?

3. Do you provide free upgrade services for the software or do you charge for the upgrades?

1. Yes, on dedicated servers we give free WHMCS

2. No setup fees.

3. We give free license only. If they want us to handle software upgrades, etc. - we can do that by request and sometimes even for free, depending on the amount of work involved.

I'm interested to see what is said here, considering adding free whmcs to my Reseller plans in future but was wondering how much it helps...

WHMCS is a bit expensive to be given as free software, especially the first few licences anyway. We added clientexec a few days ago and have not seen any significant increase as yet.

No they dont. Not even 50% do

There are so many billing system out there.
We found it better to see if they have affiliate programs and sign up with a couple of the better ones, and offer them all.
You might get a discount on the license, and you can markup and resell, or just take the kick back from the billing software vendor.
