I've seen that they were down ~2-3 h in August... does this happen frequently? are you happy with them? We did have a problem once with someone doing a DOS attack but Matt and NAC took care of it quickly. You will be well taken care of by Spenix and Matt. There are BIG sites that are down for days at a time from DOS's look at RIAA's site was unreachable for days because of a DOS (Denial of Service Attack) I will mention that my website is currently hosted by Spenix for free. I started getting a bunch of referers from the Name servers ip's :( XTStrike 09-02-2002, 06:27 PM cornnuts, I believe MattF is doing some maintenance on the spenix.com web server, hardware and some software upgrades. We had to perform some emergency hardware repairs to the server, this is not something we could have anticipated unfortunately, and will further review our hardware replacement procedures to ensure an even quicker response to emergencies . We've worked with NAC on the incidient and our servers should be all alive and well from now. |
