Well, I think it would help to have the designer's exact appraisal of how much work has been done to *better evaluate what's left to be done.* I think that's important and that potential buyers SHOULD CARE about this.

Because as I said, it looks more than half dev. to me. So, what did I miss?

its not on its own domain,
the supports page is not done, need content, those are place holder contents.
Forms does not work

Yes. And there was a link provided to an actual site (not an image of a site) that would show the buyer exactly what is finished and what is not; or in other words, telling the purchasing designer exactly how much work has to be done.

Well, that's all very nice, but this thread is about Aplusmedia (and maybe hoststation, if we start playing with whois (plural whoares? ;) )).

All your message seems to indicate, along with the logo placed on the demo page, is that that Vivar guy tried to purchase the template from Aplusmedia, possibly trying to scam Aplusmedia. It seems he changed his mind, as it was sold and then not sold.

So, what was your case, with your message completely missing the point of this thread?

Anyways. Aplusmedia seems legit to me. I've seen message from and about him here in the past, I've seen some of his work and would buy from him without hesitation.

No need to act like a jerk, what the hell? The people you mentioned aren't buying the design anyways (according to the post that says, "NOT SOLD..i repeat..NOT SOLD....") so how are they to screw him out of anything?

And they can't scam him if THEY are paying HIM before they get the design. I've met some people that give the design first, but that's just retarded. They pay, you give the design. So he wouldn't have lost anything, the only thing that happened is that they backed out on the deal.

but to clarify the whole story..here is what happened.

I originally designed the site as template for sale. after 2 weeks, it was not sold so i decided to use it myself since i wanted to start my own hosting biz.

halfway developing it, a guy came to me asking if its still available, i said no and i showed him all my other ones that are available, but he said he only want THAT ONE(hoststation). so what the hell..i decided i'll give it to him and make myself another one. so thats that....

while waiting for him to get the money(supposedly), i designed myself another site (currently www.hoststation.net). mean while I saw on here he's posting a request for a webhosting site design. so all my time wasted..he wasnt sure if hes gonna buy my design. end up he didnt. (funny thing is...now he wanted to buy my NEW design (hoststation.net, and i said no..).

so thats why i put it on here for sale AGAIN. (this thread).

then surpasshosting gave me an offer, and said hes gonna buy it, after some modification, we concluded that he wont be buying because of some valid reasons, its all cool.

so i posted on here saying its not sold and still available so i was open to offers.

now the third time, i've got a buyer, this time it has been paid so i can for sure this time say that its sold.

It's no problem at all ;) I actually didn't have a specific use for it, but know that I would soon be able to use it and sometimes it's rare that sites/templates come around here that I like, so I'd have jumped at it if it were available then. Good to hear that you sold it.
