Now it is really getting even more out of hand, not only that I regular spam, now I see spammers send me a help ticket with spam. Here is the latest one, so be warned of this company.

Seems they've spammed here before. :D

No need to include their name though (though I know who it is). They don't deserve more advertisement.

We got this one about 10 minutes ago...... These guys are unreal! I'd have to check, but I'm pretty sure that we're not even advertising at Overture, either. Ridiculous.

Hehe, thats pretty funny, did they just send the spam to a support email address, or did they register an account with like perldesk and send it that way. Because if they did that would be hilarious.

The reason I included the name is because people should know that THIS company spams, which hopefully will discourage using them. But as I just saw, their name is **** out, so that is good.

As for the way they spammed, this guy actually filed out a form on my help desk page, which is why I found it unusual. Usually I get Spam by robots that got my e-mail somewhere, but this guy actually filed out the whole helpdesk form (Name, E-Mail, Problem.)

I always get these kind of mails and have a long list of companies. You cannot even block their addresses. They send through a new URL.

That's just crazy, I can't believe spammers would bother to signup then spam.

Gave me an idea (maybe they have a helpdesk) :D

hahahahaha, i have a story for you:

At school, our CCNA teacher got a spam over the fax machine, so i walk up to it and fax the person back atleast 100 all black sheets :D . you should try it sometime ;)

i get spammed through a help desk or contact form

i also used to get spammed thorugh our own contact forms. Its partially due to the fact that the formmail code is vunerable. The trick is to use a generally safer code.

As for the spammers as a whole, they will always be finding newer ways to spam and we will always be fighting them... :uzi:

Wait till we get spammed on National Media...lol

LOL, Yeah we've had spam to the helpdesk aswell, probably because the bots read the email address off the site which pipes through to it :)

I have to say though, since doing a bit of work on the site to make sure no email addresses were included in the HTML code, no new spam has been received to any email addresses :)

You mean a scrollbar that says:

<BEEP <BEEP> BEEP>
“We interrupt this program to test our new spam system, would this been a real spam message, spam would appear on your screen.
<BEEP <BEEP> BEEP>
We are now joining the following program already in progress”
