I'm sorry for your troubles, but you should move to a new host long ago.

Doesn't effect me too badly. I just purchased a ded. server from Fastservers.net and got it 2 days after ordering.
Those guys over there ROCK! They don't mess around and they're really friendly. I am GLAD I moved.

I noticed my earhost account was down when I was transferring some of my files over to the new server. Oh well, I had to learn the hard way.
It's too bad too, cause James from EARHOST is a really nice guy, he just teamed up with the wrong person! Know what I mean?

Not backing up anyone here. I Dont know what kind of outfit EARHOST runs.

But how do we know who runs earhost? Like i mean the staff involved? We dont maybe they each work for one day ( I know it doesnt sound normal but hay this is hosting anything is possible )

Well at least now there pricing looks alittle better and i dont remember what exactly happen to them but im just saying its wrong to suggest that they are BS about who is running there company ( Including staff )

Your lucky, Im with earhost and you may already know that the server im on has an invalid CPanel Licsense, so no cp, or email. The server has been like this for 4 days now, and im getting mad. I spoke to tim and he said " oh we'll sort it".

they ping ok, but when i open a shell to them, there's a huge lag time. also, their http server doesn't seem to be responding at all.

i've submitted trouble tickets, called, and emailed, but have gotten no response.

and, i can't get into their customer support forum, because it keeps telling me it's restricted.

does anyone know what's going on?

CPanel Lic. Well most of the time i would guess it gives that error if someone did not pay for the cpanel.

Yes, I've noticed an absense from James lately. Hard to believe that they are the same person. Even if they were, both usernames would be from different IPs anyways, so there's no problems with James having access.

I just think he's laying low for a while and focussing on his gyprocking business and hosting business. Life does exist outside of WHT. :D

I quit. I have honestly never run into such a bunch of fools, Tim and James are kids, kids. As a customer without access to a control panel for almost a week now, Im frustrated, extremely. All I asked for was an account to park my domains at, nothing more, and they cant even provide that. Soon Ill write my whole review of EARHost when Im not so frustrated, trying to use objective information, but my god Tim and James have messed up. Monday Im going to call the Newfoundland BBB, until then Ill vent.

Does anyone have information regarding Tim? I have heard many people talk about lawsuits and calling agencies, but I doubt anyone has. Come monday Ill do it, its about time. Its okay if he is a minor, its important to have such complaints on file no matter his age. Any information as to here his location and identity would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

This situation is a real travesty, but my guess is that earhost will soon colapse as fast and as hard as it did the first time.

Either way TheMMIz, I am truly sorry that you have to experience this idiocy as it gives the whole hosting industry a bad name when two jokers try to play ceo.

Are you kidding? Its not work my $25, heck, I dont even know if id do it for $500, and I know James had refunded much of the money. This is not an attempt to raise attention, but I read over and over again about people threatening action but never taking it.

I only lost $25.00, surely this isnt going to break me, but I just CANT STAND that Tim has committed fraud over and over again, has not paid his bills repeatedly, and gets away with it. Many of you commenting on Tim have only been on the forums for a few months, Tim has been scamming people for a LONG TIME now. Go ahead and search, he has a horrible record. The fact that James would even think about "working with" such a fraud is despicable.

Now we know he is a minor, I believe about a year ago he posted that he was 16, so I assume he is about 17 now. I have no problem contacting the local BBB, and depending on the process have no problem going further if my money is not refunded. Its not only $25, but it is literally the thousands of dollars Tim has fraudulently handled since he first graced the presence of WHT.

I just dont get how some of you members let this go on for so long. I really dont. Let it be known that I signed up for an EARHost account before Tim came into the picture. Since then I have filed MANY support tickets that just keep getting closed by Tim. When I emailed Tim about a refund using Billing, Admin, Webmaster, Sales, Billing, Tim, and James@EarHost.com, he had the nerve to respond with "A Cancellation MUST BE SEND TO CANCEL@EARHost.com all these emails will be ignored." That would have been great if he responded to the support ticket I filed asking that exact question an hour before.

I quit. This has gone on for long enough. Its enough.

Time to post a request, or simply gain another provider, or get your own dedicated server.

FYI, James cannot post as he has been banned, I managed to find out that TimPD was using the "fractiousws" account to get around his ban (by talking to TimPD via ICQ and creating a packet log of our conversation and linking the packet log to posts made recently by the user "fractiousws" :D - sneaky i know, but it sure fooled him :D )

Please, Can We Let The Whole TimPD Paradise Designs issue rest now, everyone with them, make up your own mind, there are thousands of hosts on this board, look at which ones got good reviews and go with one of them.

There are some members on WHT that EVERY time they post you just want to post "PLEASE DO A SEARCH BEFORE GOING WITH THIS HOST, THEY SUCK," but you dont.

I'm the guy formerly known as EHKevin. I was a client. Then a dear friend of mine told me EARHost was looking for Sales and Support personnel. So I inquired, was "hired." I responded to all support inquiries as best I could.

Now I didn't like Tim from the start and I think I've pretty much expressed that with my fellow board members at Forum4Hosts as well as a few of my peers. So why did I signup in the first place? Heck, I'll admit, it was a good deal -- and for free! But maybe I was asking for trouble.

The downtime was extremely frustrating. And often my subdomains as well as other features of my account wouldn't work. All of this within the first month, final month at that.

Back to the staff issue. I'm not sure of the on-site staff, infact, I doubt it. I do believe the 866 # forwards to him (Tim), which defeats the purpose of the 24/7 phone support, if it even exists -- I tried calling recently on behalf of client, since Tim wasn't online, but couldn't get through, it didn't even ring.

I'm no longer a client as of a few days ago nor a Support Technician. I don't believe that Tim should be in business, I question his integrity -- he has no ethics.

Now I await my refund... :eek:

Ah its Tuesday, refund day...........anyone want 2 bet on whether i will get mine or not :D

When james was speaking for himself it was obvious he was not only covering up Tim's mistakes, but also attempting to cover his LIES as well, and is banned for some of that.

There has been NO indication that James was EVER on the level, nor ever had anymore credibility nor integrity that Tim has shown he lacks.

And i would like to let everyone at earhost.com know that your email boxes are going to be full from now until you go out of business again! Until i get my money back!

And thanks to the wonderful world of the internet i can get as many email boxes as i need to accomplish this:mad:
