coldgansta 07-05-2008, 08:02 AM Hi guys.
I got myself a master reseller from iwhic.
All went well for the last few days,Now i find my first spell of downtime.
My site has been down for 10 hours now.
Support tcket submited but not answerd.
I allso have dedicated ip and still not responding-The connection has timed out-server not found etc.
This is about my 10th day of using iwhic.
I only have a few days left to collect my refund as they state 15 days money back.
What you guys think about iwhic does any1 use them.
Tell me your reviews plz.

Thanks
040Hosting 07-05-2008, 08:31 AM A live help button on the site which doesn't work, no Phone number to dail, and support which does not answer. Would scare me in the first 10 days, but maybe they are working hard to get the server back online.
If it is a US host they may wake up in a few hours after the 4th of July celebration.
MsiHos 07-05-2008, 08:33 AM Yes your site not working . check your Ticket maybe someone reply to you

Asher S 07-05-2008, 10:42 AM Register with an uptime monitoring service like hyperspin and show the uptime stats to your webhosting company next time it goes down.

You have some DNS issues which are probably going to cause your site not to resolve on/off:
NS list mismatch: registration authority reports that domain is hosted on the following servers: 'ns1.blogshoster.net; ns2.blogshoster.net', but DNS server ns1.blogshoster.net reports domain to be hosted on 'ns1.usahostingcafe.com; ns2.usahostingcafe.com'. Please make sure that you configure the same DNS servers in registrar database and on your DNS
Your webhosting company has some nameservers listed on your DNS zones which aren't listed at the root servers. You should bring this matter up with your webhost and see what they say about it.
IwhiC 07-05-2008, 05:09 PM I love it when people do not know how to set up dns or edit the dns in there account to reflect what they have at the registry that it is our fault.
Your ticket was responded to with in a few hours after you submitted it. Please tell me in your ticket what you have your dns set for at your registry, you have to have it match what is on the server. Which can be done through edit dns or open a ticket for us to do it, we do not just know if you are using ours or your custom name servers.

mmm i do know how to sutup dsn ime not a nooby.
I registerd my own nameservers as to the server were my custom nameservers were setup by you.
This downtime is not due to me setting wrong nameservers.
They were set to the ip's provided by you.
So when the server is timing out you will say i set the wrong ip's???

exactly . i see some problem in Dns for blogshoster.net
IwhiC 07-05-2008, 06:27 PM No, you asked me if your customers could use your name servers and I told you yes if you have them set up that way.. I have edited YOUR dns and added the A entry for them in YOUR account. Here is our knowledge base on how to do it.

I have done this for you,
If you would have opened a ticket asking us to set up your name servers then one of our techs would have done this for you. We do not do this automatically as we use to then people never set their own name servers up at the registry and came into this same problem that you just had.
If you need anything else please open a ticket. The forums do not get monitored for support issues.
coldgansta 07-05-2008, 06:31 PM I wasent posting here to get my ticket answerd.
The title says reviews.
I was asking for reviews of your hosting.
And no i dont have the same ip set for dsn1 and dsn2.
And in my welcome email you stated that as i had a dedicated ip you had allready set custom nameservers to my account.
I dident ask for this as you allready did it or i would have asked.
Then when my dsn wouldent propigate i submited a ticket and you had set to wrong ip's
coldgansta 07-05-2008, 07:03 PM Ok the problem is now sorted.
Was due to a dsn isue that iwhic has sorted.
I agree now that the server was not down just my dsn isue and not iwhic' server.
I apologize to iwic, and i can admit it when i am wrong and i was on this occasion.
Mike V 07-05-2008, 07:04 PM Good to hear it was all sorted out in the end :)
