Hello guys,
I am gonna start new webhosting service. Servers are no problem. My biggest problem is software/control panel. I've many of them, but i dont know what is the best. CPanel and Plesk are too expensive for my pocket, but iam thinking about InterWorx-CP and other cheaper systems. Can you tell me your experiences with commerical and free control panels please (include cPanel and Plesk (Plus))?

It has to support multiple servers mainly. The best will be if it has one central administration of all connected servers for resellers and customers. Next think what i need is more than 1 domain and FTP account per customer (unlimited is the best choice for me ;)).

It's all for now, thanks.

I haven't used any control panels that connect multiple servers together other than slave DNS. Also, there is no 'best' control panel. There may be a 'best' in terms of what your looking for.

If price is a concern and helps make a 'best' control panel for you then maybe you want to also check our DirectAdmin. Licenses can be had for a lot cheaper than cPanel and Plesk.

Having used all 3 control panels I think they all have their positives and negatives. I would think of some specific features that would be needed and useful to you, write them down, then demo different panels and test for these features to make sure they work as expected (ex. language, DNS control, specific statistics, loading speed, apache version support, php version support, etc.).

Ok, now iam thinking about DirectAdmin, InterWorx-CP, Plesk and cPanel. I still think cPanel is the best for me, but i have a 5 servers and you know, its too expensive for 5 servers. Plesk as well.
