Hey,

I have been with HighFluxHosting for some time now. Let me give you a bit of a time line.

A couple months ago when I purchased the hosting, everything was going great. When I had questions they would answer then quick with their WHMCS support system. The hosting that I was going to be doing was not going to require that much space and bandwidth, so I felt that I should try them out. Also, I could not find any negative reports of them that were anywhere close to recent.

The first 1-2 months went very well. Then it hit, one of my clients sites apparently got a complaint written up about them sent to the datacenter, then sent to HighFluxHosting from the datacenter. The datacenter told HighFluxHosting to take down one of the sites.

When I got the ticket from HighFluxHosting, I took the site down immediately (about 1 hour after they told me). I am sure they were happy that I did this. I did exactly what they wanted me to do, without any problems or questions asked.

After I took down the site, I made a ticket asking for more information about the complaint. Asking why it had to be taken down, ect. Usually, before this incident, it took them max 4-5 hours to reply to a ticket, but almost always within 2 hours. The ticket I made did not get a reply until 7-8 days later. The reply told me that they did not get any more information why the site had to go down, just that it did. So I agreed with them and have not hosted that site since.

I have done everything they wanted without problems. The problem is, now they will never reply to any of my new tickets. They will just leave them open for around 9-10 days and then close them. I have some simple questions opened not regarding anything to do with the complaint and the site that I had to take down.

They will just not reply to my tickets anymore. Don't worry, I played it smart and always made backups. Also, I don't have anything important on that hosting now.

I would rather not have to move hosts, I just want to solve this problem with them not replying to any of my tickets. I like to try many hosts out, and found this one to have some very good hosting (nice and fast).

What do you guys think I should do rather than moving hosts? If HighFluxHosting is reading this, please reply to my ticket. I might be mistaken here, there might be something wrong with the ticket system or something.

Just to add in, with this topic I am in no way trying to "bash" up this company. I just want to resolve this problem.

Cya,

There's not much you can do. Your not experiencing any server problems or any downtime but I would highly recommend generating daily backups. There's a possibility that your site might go down in the future and the tech support won't be able to assist you to prevent further downtime. Just be prepared to move at anytime I suppose. There's nothing else you can really do in your situation.

Did you try using the sales phone number on their site to clear things up?

A representative of theirs seems to have an account at Sitepoint (not used in a long time though): http://www.sitepoint.com/forums/member.php?u=114302. Try sending him a PM, maybe you'll get lucky.

Its pretty unfortunate to hear your lack of support from HighFluxHosting, but have you tried any other contact methods?

Have a check in their TOS and see what they have said when the support becomes sluggish. Also look for any phone numbers using which you can contact them directly.

Hey, tried phoning but it goes to this weird messaging system. The messaging system says nothing about HighFluxHosting or any hosting in fact.

Did you try to trace the phone number? May be you may get a better idea.
