View Full Version : Best Web Design Firm and Why!

I've seen lots of threads about which design company is the best or is one of the best but instead of a genuine list of design designers that folks on WHT have used or recommend we get the usual two culprits, PixelBrick and 2Advanced. This followed by a group of people bashing PixelBrick (same style designs, annoying sound effects, over-use of flash) or 2advanced (bad support, too expensive and so on).

So anyway I hope everyone will reply to this thread with their favorite design firm and why that firm is their favorite. It would also be nice to see "WHT grown" designers get a little exposure (so if you've used designers on WHT and liked their service please post them here).

Im thinking of moving into some design work,

http://beta.unitedhosting.co.uk

http://unitedhosting.co.uk

are two sites im working on now.

I just cant decide if its worth my time for what seems to be a flooded market... so many templates dont even sell for $25 and I would want to charge a lot more for my work.

depends what clientele you are going for. I wouldn't want customers from WHT because most want everything for free or for very minimal prices, Unless they wanted to pay for the service/product they are recieving.

Local small businesses is where the $$ are for web design companies, IMO. Once you build up a brand name in your local area try and get those not so local clients.

Nice work though. The beta one is excellent. It'll rule if you do some kind of cool mouseover effects on the navigation. :)

Oh right, I forgot to mention that the link I posted to graphicallyspeaking.ca is EXPENSIVE! "Websites starting at just $1500"

And last time I asked for a quote at www.circle.bc.ca and they said $2000.
