Hi everybody.
Maybe some of you may be interested in installing webmin in a raq, but afraid of knowing if it should work. Yesterday I was in the mood for experimenting (and hopefully not paying for a server restore) and successfully installed webmin. Untar, ran setup, everything went smoothly.
It supports cobalt linux 5.0, and looks like a really nice alternative for that featureless cobalt control panel, I am know loving the control over any ftp account, virtual site, email, etc. I just though I'd had to share it with you. :)
I read about that.. that is.. installing webmin on a Cobalt and someone said that even if it did work, the cobalt server wouldn't work right because it works with the control panel and stuff. But than again, it wouldn't be bad to be able to setup cron jobs and stuff like that.
What RaQ did you install it on? A RaQ3?

No its for both, you can give a Customer User-Rights on some Module ...
Example (Hosting4Less):
-----------------------
Account Creation / Modification / Status:
- FTP Sub Account Creation
- Pop Account Creation
- FTP Sub Account Creation
- Display FTP Accounts
- etc
Email Aliases / Forwards Configuration
- Email Address Mapping
File Manager
Majordomo List Manager
etc.
Make a Search on WebMin here in the Forum and you should find a little Guidance how to make this.

It is advisable to keep WebMin away from your Users. The language and interface webmin uses is a little to complicated and technical for a lame user to understand.

I couldn't wait and installed it on my raq 3 and it works SUPER!
Everything works and the old cobalt control panel works too so I would suggest that everybody installs it now. This cp really rocks ;-0
