I wanted to know who has the best service and location for Australian customers. I currently have a Cali server but require something a little cheaper.
Most of our customers are in Australia and so a top end reseller plan with fast server to Australia would be wonderful.
Thanks for your comments and please do ask any questions.

Regards,
Gunny

what price level are you looking for? And for how many GB of space, bandwidth?

At this present time less than 5 gig of space and bw area shows 759mb of bandwidth lol. It aint a great deal of a reseller plan. The most important thing is the power of the server to Australia customers and uptime. The ability to create reseller account is not important, but the anonysmous part would be an advantage.

Have you thought of checking out the reseller plan at aussiehost.com?
Owner is none other than Aussie Bob. I am pretty sure the servers he uses for aussiehost.com is Australian based.

Correct, but AussieHost.com does not offer reseller plans and as this is the Windows forum, we don't do windows either.

Thanks anyways. :)

Any server on the west coast of the USA should be adequately fast to Australia. I've always found I get the best speeds to servers in Seattle or LA.

If you put your server in the US it means you'll lose a certain amount of Kudos with the search engines (i.e. potentially your client sites won't register as being in Australia but in the US). That could have a dramatic effect on the traffic they receive and their search engine positions - assuming you're hosting sites for them. I'd strongly recommend that if you are hosting sites, and the search engines are important to your clients then choose an Australian based host.
