View Full Version : Which hosting of these?

Okay, I've done a search (and I'm exhausted right now) for some hosts, based on what people have been saying. I think some of the posts I've read were a few weeks old, so perhaps we can get an update of those in here as well. Can you people who've been hosted for a while by these companies reply? Thanks!

my top 3 picks out of that list would be :

venturesonline
hostculture
and downtownhost

:)

Note: I am not hosted by these companies; I recommend them because my experience with them in the past has been second to none.

I use dot5hosting and would recommend them based on service and support..........(Don't know what you consider a while) but I have been there just short of two months and am very satisfied.

I've used Ventures Online and they are top notch. They will also install just about any PHP or Perl module that you might need if it isn't already installed on the server.

After a real bad experience I am now with Pagezone since almost a month and still very happy. Service seems to be their strength, the rest is ok as well, but that's less difficult than offering good service.

Alex will give you A plus support.
He helped me once all day on a Sunday and his support is great.
I base this on searching for a great host for over 6 years!

Sorry for the late response, but after a lot of talking and stuff, I've gone with akashd's service. Thank you!

I have ********...a made to order plan, although I have noticed some big slowdowns on the site lately. Pulling between 5k-16k from the site around midday (noonish). =/

Hope they sort it out soon, or I am gonna need to switch, I pull files from my website from work sites durring the day, I need a reliable server to pull them from.

I just switched to Page Zone a week ago. Anyone hosting there and happy with the service provided?

aporia - it would be best if you created a new thread asking for opinions; rather than bringing up threads 4 months old
