Anybody know of a provider that has decent servers for $99 a month, and not cobalt. Btw http://www.cobaltracks.com really really BITES. Don't buy any servers from there bad bad evil.

Yeah, everybody knows that already.

There is a site dedicated to them http://www.cobaltracksucks.com (don't know if it still exsists)

Did they burn you?

dtwebworks.com has $99 servers, but not for long, only the next day or two.

Go to your bank, dispute the order, cancel your credit card if it's necessary, but just GET OUT of there NOW!

Yep, I only know of dtwebworks.com really - but they're a good choice - I'm very pleased with their service! :D

Just my two cents though ...

Have a great day,

Mike

I am currently working with Burst.net, and I plan to set up a server with them in the next week. I chose them out of the rest because first, the people there are friendly, and you feel like you really matter because they try very hard to make it right for me. Although I am not currently on their services yet, I know it will all go great. Their prices may seem a little high, but it comes with the CPanel3 control panel free (usually about $200 per a month). It is worth the small extra amount of money for them with what I have seen so far.

Correction: Cpanel costs at most $199/mo extra (no $300/mo extra). You can get it cheaper (at about $100/mo extra) if you are hosted at serverhost.com and pwebtech.com (any others?). And for sure, only $25/mo extra if you are hosted inside VDI.net, directly through VDI.net or indirectly through other companies hosted with VDI (tons of them).

cheers,
