What's the difference between domain addon and domain parking?

Thanks in advance.

I would probably ask the host that's advertising the service. Their response shows you a) their customer service b) their competence c) the answer. :D

At a guess I'd presume they mean domain pointing and domain parking.

Pointing - pointing a TLD domain name to a subdomain giving it the appearance of an account of it own

Parking - making a second domain name point to the same website as another.

There's probably a few definitions of what a domain 'add-on' is depending on the control panel in use.

Probably out of date now, but we used to consider domain "parking" as making a vhost record for it without any other services...because in particular the .au ccTLD used to require a pair of authorative nameservers before you could even register a domain. Whereas pointing would be frame or redirect forwarding a domain to a qualified URL. And "add-on" would be adding server aliases to an existing domain.

Cheers
